1. Service Description

Golden Valley Chem Dry provides professional carpet and upholstery cleaning services including:

  • Residential carpet cleaning using Hot Carbonating Extraction
  • Commercial carpet cleaning services
  • Upholstery and furniture cleaning
  • Area rug cleaning and restoration
  • Pet odor removal and stain treatment
  • Carpet protection treatments
  • Emergency water damage restoration

2. Scheduling and Appointments

Appointment Booking

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance by phone or through our website
  • We will confirm all appointments within 24 hours of booking
  • Appointment times are estimates and may vary due to traffic or previous job completion
  • We will provide advance notice if significant delays are expected

Cancellation Policy

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • No-show appointments may be charged a service call fee
  • Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no additional charge

3. Pricing and Payment

Estimates and Pricing

  • All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days
  • Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions found during service
  • Additional services requested during the appointment will be quoted separately
  • Travel fees may apply for locations outside our primary service area

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Commercial accounts may be eligible for net-30 payment terms
  • Returned checks will incur a $35 processing fee
  • Past due accounts may be subject to collection procedures and additional fees

4. Customer Responsibilities

Pre-Service Preparation

  • Remove small items, toys, and breakables from areas to be cleaned
  • Vacuum loose debris if possible (we will pre-vacuum as part of our service)
  • Provide clear access to all areas to be cleaned
  • Secure pets in a safe location during service
  • Point out any areas of special concern or delicate items

Property Access

  • Customer must be present during service or provide authorized access
  • Customer is responsible for providing adequate lighting and electrical access
  • Customer must disclose any known hazards or special conditions
  • Customer is responsible for securing valuable items and personal belongings

5. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

Stain Removal

  • While we use advanced cleaning methods, not all stains can be completely removed
  • Results depend on stain type, age, previous cleaning attempts, and carpet fiber
  • We will provide honest assessments of stain removal possibilities
  • Some stains may reappear after cleaning due to wicking or other factors

Carpet and Fabric Conditions

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or discoloration
  • Some carpets may experience temporary texture changes after cleaning
  • Color bleeding or dye migration may occur with certain fabrics
  • Shrinkage may occur with natural fiber rugs and upholstery
  • We will test inconspicuous areas when possible to identify potential issues

6. Satisfaction Policy

We stand behind our work and want you to be completely satisfied with our services:

  • If you are not satisfied with our cleaning results, contact us within 48 hours
  • We will return to re-clean any areas that do not meet our quality standards
  • Additional cleaning attempts will be provided at no charge
  • Our satisfaction policy applies to cleaning quality, not to stain removal results
  • Customer must allow reasonable opportunity for corrective action

7. Liability and Insurance

Insurance Coverage

  • Golden Valley Chem Dry carries general liability and bonding insurance
  • Our technicians are trained professionals and bonded employees
  • Insurance certificates are available upon request

Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion
  • Customer must provide reasonable access for inspection and corrective action
  • We are not responsible for items not properly secured by the customer
